Waterpark & Deep Clean Technician Pool Durant Casino

Job Purpose or Objective(s): The Deep Clean Technician cleans that includes both standard daily tasks and responsibilities that go beyond the normal daily cleaning and scrubbing operations of the pool staff. You will report to the Pool Supervisor.

 

Primary Tasks:

Operate industrial cleaning equipment: Floor Scrubbers, shampooers, sweepers, power washers’ buffers, blowers, steam cleaners, and single- and two-person lifts.

Keep the water park areas clear of dangerous objects and substances.

Help maintain pools and pool areas by brushing, skimming, vacuuming, scrubbing.

Respond promptly to emergency cleaning needs, including spills or biohazard incidents.

Identify and report maintenance issues, hazards or areas needing repairs to my supervisor and Facilities Leadership.

Maintain cleaning equipment and help coordinate regular maintenance.

Follow approved cleaning practices with proper chemicals within MSDS guidelines.

High Work: hard water stains from vents, ledges, fixtures, wall hangings, cabanas, and light fixtures. This can involve working overhead and operating a scissor lift to access inaccessible areas, usually at heights of 15+ feet.

Perform cleaning and sanitization of pool decks, cabanas, loungers, restrooms, and common areas using specialized cleaning equipment and products. Often using ladders or stools to clean hard to reach areas, to maintain a clean, presentable, and attractive facility always to our 4 diamond standards.

Other duties as may be assigned.

 

Minimum Requirements:

·         Knowledge of cleaning machines and tools, including their designs, uses, basic maintenance 

·         Ability to understand the proper use of clearing solutions and apply them proficiently 

·         Obtain a basic knowledge of cleaning machines and tools 

·         Follow detailed instructions
