401k

We are proud to offer a 401(k) to all associates, full-time and part-time, who are 18+. This retirement plan aims to give CNO associates more control over how they save for their financial futures. The Choctaw Nation also offers a 5% match for anyone who contributes at least 6% of their eligible pay to the 401(k) and who works at least 1,000 hours in their first year.

HSA & FSA

Health Savings Accounts (HSA’s) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA’s) can be valuable assets in your healthcare toolbelt. These benefits save you money by allowing you to set aside pre-tax dollars to help cover health expenses like copays, deductibles, pharmaceutical needs and more. Associates who are eligible to participate in an HSA or FSA can determine the amount they contribute.

This voluntary benefit allows you to access your pay when you need it most and plan for the future. You can request up to 50% of your next paycheck and receive funds in seconds. You can also manage your savings contributions and budget through the Even free app.

Annual & Sick Leave

Having access to time off when you need it most is important. Our full-time associates can accrue annual leave and sick leave throughout the year. We even offer an employee appreciation day, which is a free day off to use whenever you want!

Wellness (Fitness)

Do you love working out but hate paying hundreds of dollars a year for a gym membership? We have good news for you! The Choctaw Nation operates 12 Wellness Centers throughout the reservation. These facilities offer state-of-the-art exercise equipment, walking tracks, fitness classes, CrossFit and more. Wellness Centers are available free of charge to all tribal members, associates, CDIB holders of any federally recognized tribe and members of the military. Spouses and dependents up to age 26 are also welcome to use the facilities free of charge.

Healthcare

Employee Health Clinics are another way we care for the health and well-being of our associates. These free urgent care clinics are staffed with certified physicians, nurse practitioners and nurses. Associates, their spouses and their dependents up to age 26 are welcome. The Choctaw Nation currently operates two Employee Health Clinics, one in Durant and one in Poteau.

Wellness Incentive Program

Who doesn’t want to pay less on their health insurance premiums? The Wellness Incentive program can save associates who are enrolled in a CNO health plan up to $600 a year on premiums just for keeping an eye on their own health and wellness. The required screenings are all covered by your health plan at no additional cost to you!

Pet Insurance

Your pets are an important part of your family. That’s why we offer pet insurance to associates through Pet Partners. Pet insurance reimburses you for the cost of accidents and illnesses throughout your pet’s life.

Teladoc provides you with 24/7/365 access to U.S. board-certified doctors in a timely manner. These doctors can diagnose and treat more than 80 common, non-life-threatening conditions. Plus, it’s much less expensive than a trip to urgent care!

This benefit is free and helps you manage diabetes, hypertension and other health conditions like weight, stress and more. Get access to coaching, behavioral health support and connected devices, too!

This benefit is our way of showing commitment and support for professional development and educational initiatives for all CNO associates, both full-time and part-time. The EEAP provides financial assistance to an accredited college or university for associate degrees all the way up to doctorate degrees in fields that can reasonably be expected to lead to job advancement within the Choctaw Nation.
