Full Time| Monday-Friday 8:00AM-4:30PM| 40/60 Onsite/Remote

Job Purpose or Objective(s): Technical Support Engineer 3’s job is to provide advanced technical support for all technology-related operations, contributing to the success of the organization’s goals and strategic objectives. The Technical Support Engineer 3 will offer comprehensive technical assistance, which includes managing, maintaining, and optimizing critical functional areas, such as applications, tools, and hardware resources.

Primary Tasks

  • Further development in advanced packaging procedures of applications, patches, and updates to the Choctaw Nation desktop environment.
  • Investigate problems and develop PowerShell or other scripts to supplement packaging and other support tools as required.
  • Research, develop, and maintain knowledge bases and FAQ resources on the file server to aid in problem resolution.
  • Troubleshoot production support issues post deployment and recommend solutions as needed while also analyzing trends in problems.
  • Provide leadership and support to Technical Support Specialists to help them serve the End-User community more proficiently.
  • Modify configurations, utilities, and software default settings for VDI.
  • Modify configuration, utilities, and maintain Print roaming services and Single sign on software.
  • Create, test, and deploy software packages through EPM and Group policy.
  • Other duties as may be assigned by management.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent working experience or 4 years related experience.
  • Experience in Windows, Linux, and virtualization environments such as VMWare
  • Experience in desktop and server operating systems, including Windows 7/10, Server 2008/2012
  • Experience with PowerShell, VBScript, and batch scripting languages
  • Experience creating custom scripts to drive installs, uninstalls, custom actions and system management
  • Ability to troubleshoot Packaging, Deployment, and System issues.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in high-pressure environment
  • 8 years related work experience
