Job Purpose or Objective(s):  The Table Games Manager is responsible for the implementation and execution of goals and objectives set forth by upper management with regard to Blackjack, other table games, and/or Poker while overseeing all pit activity to include game activity, game integrity, player strategy, all cash and chip transactions, and dealer performance. 

Primary Tasks

  • Oversee the daily needs of the table games operation including review staffing levels, delegate authority, assign responsibilities, instruct associates on specific tasks and job techniques, training, scheduling, and development/performance management.
  • Maintain awareness and compliance of company and departmental rules, regulations, and objectives.
  • Active involvement in managing the Table Games Pit(s) to include ample visibility within the Table Games Pit(s).
  • Engage in and promote positive guest interaction by all team members in their pit area and ensure that minimum guest service standards are met.
  • Review, manage and present department financial data and analyze P&L statements.
  • Review table game activities, layout, game mix, table minimums, and promotional status.
  • Monitor and strive for improvement in percentage of rated play and managed complementary items as tools to continually improve guest retention.
  • Ensure the safety and security of guest and employees.
  • Address and resolve customer/associate/management problems on the floor quickly, professionally, and discretely.
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Proficient in the use of Windows based office software including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Knowledge of all table game types in the market
  • Able to analyze computer generated reports on various table games products
  • Excellent communication, customer service skills, and work ethic
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Five (5) years management experience in casino table games operations
