Table Games Dealer Class – Choctaw Landing
This 9-Week course is designed to develop the skillsets necessary for dealing Table Games.
Pay Rate: $10.00 Hourly Rate – While in Training
Expected Pay Once on the gaming floor: $8.00 hourly (AVG Tip Rate: $27.74/hour)
Shift Details: 9:00AM-3:00PM Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (OFF Friday, Saturday, Sunday) Time is subject to change based upon training needs
Class details:
Each selected applicant will attend class, gaining skill sets necessary to operate tables on the gaming floor.
General Class Information
• Selected applicants will be hired and required to attend the 9 weeks of class.
• Each student will be required to pass physical and written skills test for each module of the class.
o Each student will have two attempts to pass each test.
o Failure to pass either a written or physical test may result in reevaluation of class participation.
o Upon successful completion of the course, applicants will be able to select/bid from available dealer schedules.
o Applicants must attend every class and conduct themselves in a professional manner.

Job Purpose or Objective(s): Dealer 1 Trainee will learn the fundamentals of Table Games, including dealing techniques, game rules, and essential for providing a high-quality gaming experience. Your role will involve hands-on training, mentoring by experienced trainers and a comprehensive evaluation process to prepare the associate for advancement to a position within the Table Games Department. You will report to the Table Games Shift Manager/Manager.
Table Games Dealer Job Description
Primary Tasks
- Participate in an intensive training program covering multiple table games (e.g. Blackjack, Roulette, Baccarat, Poker, and Craps)
- Learn and demonstrate proper dealing techniques, games rules, and house procedures.
- Understand casino ethics, responsible gaming practices and customer interaction skills.
- Attend regular training sessions and workshops to enhance your gaming knowledge.
- Engage with guest, trainees, trainers while encouraging a welcoming environment.
- Maintain knowledge of gaming regulations and compliance protocols.
- Prepare for and participate in scheduled assessments and evaluations.
- Training and Testing: You will go through a structured training program that includes: a training phase (12 to 15 weeks), a mid-program assessment where you will undergo a practical skills evaluation and testing, and a final evaluation which involves a practical dealing test (audition) before a panel of experienced piers within the table games department.
- Other duties as may be assigned.
