3rd Shift 11p-7a | Days off TBD | Must be internal to Surveillance Department

Job Purpose or Objective(s): Manage surveillance operations training for newly hired surveillance associates.  Training must include an overview of policy and procedures, the MICS, TICS, and SICS for all areas of casino operations, and the proper use of surveillance equipment. You will report to the Surveillance Manager.

Primary Tasks

  • You will facilitate the Surveillance Training Program for all newly hired surveillance operators to include operational tasks and report writing.
  • Organize the scheduling, offering, and completion of the required training, document the training schedule, and communicate expectations to new hires.
  • Create training materials according to brand, program, and department standards.
  • Conduct training and workshops using multiple learning principles, including e-learning strategies and hands-on exercises.
  • You will evaluate trainees during training and provide constructive feedback to associates and management.
  • Provide remedial training when needed and additional resources to promote learning.
  • Collaborate with other trainers, supervisors, and managers to determine additional training needs or adjustments to the training program.
  • Perform regular surveillance operator responsibilities when not training.
  • Travel to other sites to provide training.
  • Perform other tasks as may be assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in training, HR, education, or related field or 4 years related experience.
  • Experience as a guide, facilitator, and trainer
  • Knowledge of casino MICS, TICS, SICS and department procedures and Learning Management Systems
  • Knowledge of the training cycle, training methods, and techniques
  • 1 year experience in Microsoft Office Applications – Excel (can perform complex functions). Use multi-media equipment.
  • Two (2) years surveillance experience.
