Pay Rate: $16.00 Hourly | Full Time | Shift Details: 4:15am – 12:30pm Sunday, Monday, Thursday, Saturday. Schedule will vary due to business needs. 

Weekly Earned Wage Access is an option for this position

 

Job Purpose or Objective(s): As the Soft Count Clerk, you will work within the Money Room to count all Casino gaming monies. You will report to the Soft Count Supervisors and Manager.

Primary Tasks

  • You will handle large volumes of cash and chips.
  • Cash must be counted, sorted, bundled, and recorded.
  • Clean work areas as designated by management.
  • Count and balance all monies.
  • You will identify counterfeit bills.
  • Individually wrap all denominations of monies after initial count.
  • Compare all totals of monies.
  • Use computers to enter, access or retrieve data.
  • Maintain money-room security according to rules.
  • Perform other tasks as may be assigned.

Job Requirements

  • 10-key proficiency (by touch).
  • Tolerance for repetition.
  • Apply basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
  • Experience handling large volumes of cash
