Salt and Stone Service Bartender
Job Description
Job Purpose or Objective(s): Responsible for providing drink service while ensuring guests are served, and ensuring all procedures regarding alcohol dispensing are followed. You will report to the Food & Beverage Manager/Beverage Manager.
Primary Tasks
- Prepare drinks correctly for service staff promptly in the order they are received.
- Maintain inventory control through conscientious use of proper measuring tools according to established recipes.
- Collect payment from service staff and tender checks through accurate cash handling practices for a variety of payment transactions in a point-of-sale terminal system.
- Prepare garnishes.
- Maintain cleanliness, and a safe, hazard-free work environment within your responsibilities.
- Inform management of any product shortages, equipment failures or staffing issues in a timely manner.
- Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate management of concerns and observations.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned.
Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- ABLE Certification
- Works well in a team environment and motivates the team to sustain exceptional levels of performance.
- Good cash handling skills
- Knowledgeable and familiar with all menu items, drink preparations, ingredients, and garnishes
- One (1) year work experience in a high-volume, full-service bartending position
