Salt and Stone Service Bartender

Job Description

Job Purpose or Objective(s): Responsible for providing drink service while ensuring guests are served, and ensuring all procedures regarding alcohol dispensing are followed. You will report to the Food & Beverage Manager/Beverage Manager.

 

Primary Tasks

  • Prepare drinks correctly for service staff promptly in the order they are received.
  • Maintain inventory control through conscientious use of proper measuring tools according to established recipes.
  • Collect payment from service staff and tender checks through accurate cash handling practices for a variety of payment transactions in a point-of-sale terminal system.
  • Prepare garnishes.
  • Maintain cleanliness, and a safe, hazard-free work environment within your responsibilities.
  • Inform management of any product shortages, equipment failures or staffing issues in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate management of concerns and observations.
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • ABLE Certification
  • Works well in a team environment and motivates the team to sustain exceptional levels of performance.
  • Good cash handling skills
  • Knowledgeable and familiar with all menu items, drink preparations, ingredients, and garnishes
  • One (1) year work experience in a high-volume, full-service bartending position
