Radiology Technologist
Job Description
Part-time, Regular position | Schedule: Variable; could be days, nights, or weekends | Pay: PG10, Hourly, Dependent upon experience

Job Purpose or Objective(s): As the Radiology Technologist, you will perform routine and urgent radiographic examinations. You will report to department leadership.
Primary Tasks
- Perform necessary immobilization, positioning, and technique selection to produce quality diagnostic radiographs.
- Prepare room, equipment, and materials for patient examinations.
- Supervise daily clinical performance and training of radiological students and new radiologic technologists.
- Ensure the safety of patients by observing the equipment during procedures and report any unusual occurrences.
- Consult with reading radiologist or ordering provider regarding radiographic examinations.
- Help log critical findings when appropriate.
- You will perform other duties as may be assigned.
Job Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an ARRT approved Radiologic program within six months of employment.
- Obtain ARRT certification in radiologic technology within six months post completion of an approved radiology program.
- Basic knowledge of radiology procedures
