Job Description

Part-time, Regular position | Schedule: Variable; could be days, nights, or weekends | Pay: PG10, Hourly, Dependent upon experience

Job Purpose or Objective(s): As the Radiology Technologist, you will perform routine and urgent radiographic examinations. You will report to department leadership.

Primary Tasks

  • Perform necessary immobilization, positioning, and technique selection to produce quality diagnostic radiographs.
  • Prepare room, equipment, and materials for patient examinations.
  • Supervise daily clinical performance and training of radiological students and new radiologic technologists.
  • Ensure the safety of patients by observing the equipment during procedures and report any unusual occurrences.
  • Consult with reading radiologist or ordering provider regarding radiographic examinations.
  • Help log critical findings when appropriate.
  • You will perform other duties as may be assigned.

Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of an ARRT approved Radiologic program within six months of employment.
  • Obtain ARRT certification in radiologic technology within six months post completion of an approved radiology program.
  • Basic knowledge of radiology procedures
