PRN – On Call Guy Fieri’s Kitchen Expeditor
Job Description
Job Purpose or Objective(s): The Kitchen Expeditor ensures service staff and guests receive the highest quality food and dining experience; make sure orders are prepared and garnished then delivered at the appropriate hot or cold temperature. Ensure menu items are served. You will report to the Chef De Cuisine.
Primary Tasks
- Coordinate and expedite orders, ensuring timely delivery to guests.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to manage order flow.
- Monitor and maintain a clean and organized expediting station.
- Ensure all dishes are prepared according to our high standards.
- Assist in resolving any service-related issues promptly.
- Provide excellent customer service and address guest inquiries.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to optimize efficiency.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.
Job Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar expeditor role is preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of culinary terms and basic kitchen operations.
- Flexibility to work mornings, weekends, and on-call shifts.
- Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of food safety practices.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to our unique restaurant culture.
