Materials Management Supervisor – Procurement

Job Description

This position is open to current associates in the CNO Shipping & Receiving Department 
100% Onsite (Durant, OK) | Monday-Friday | 7:00AM-3:30PM

Job Purpose or Objective(s): Plan, organize, control and direct the work of colleagues responsible for ordering, receiving, inventory, distribution, storing of all Food, Beverage and Alcohol. You will report to the Inventory Control Manager.

 Primary Tasks:

You will manage purchasing, inventory and waste management.

Prepare and maintain accounting records, statistical and comparative reports related to billing systems for multiple departments.

Record and classify financial transactions daily, weekly, and monthly.

Prepare financial information and analysis as requested to help guide decisions.

You will track payments on bills and answer questions from internal departments and vendors regarding status of invoice payments and the accuracy of charges.

Ensure that all consumable items are received, logged and distributed in a manner that follows all HACCP and Health Code regulations.

Oversee inventory controls including product rotation, storage and distribution.

Ensure that sanitation standards, as set forth by Choctaw Casino and Resorts, and local and state entities, are strictly followed.

You will set up control systems, inspection and monitoring procedures to ensure that items meet the required expectations as they pertain to quality, quantity, catch weight, and damage.

Ensure that all F&B items that do not meet the aforementioned specifications are documented and that all receiving procedures are followed.

Ensure that any shipping and receiving issues are resolved as they pertain to refusals, returns, reships, refunds and credits.

Perform other tasks as may be assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or 4 years related experience.
  • Ability to obtain ServSafe Certification
  • Ability to use culinary production equipment and tools
  • Knowledge of government laws and regulations for safety compliance
  • Excellent customer service skills to help customers with questions and support
  • Basic proficiency in computer systems as they pertain to ordering, banquet event orders, financial reporting, employee management and communication tools
  • Three years previous experience in a warehouse and supply chain environment
