Job Description
Regular, Full-time position with the CNHSA Community Health nurses in Talihina | Schedule: Monday – Friday 8am – 4:30pm | Pay: Starting between $23 – $24 per hour
Weekly earned wage access is an option for this position
Job Purpose or Objective(s): The Community Health LPN provides preventative health services through clinic programs and community projects to promote health and wellness. You will report to the Manager or Director.
Primary Tasks
- Participate in Community Health clinics, events, and Mobile Health units located throughout the Choctaw Nation including after hours, holidays, and weekend assignments.
- Provide immunizations to patients.
- Educate community on vaccines including immunization schedules, indications, precautions, contraindications, proper storage, and handling.
- Deliver patient care using the nursing process within the standards and guidelines of the organization.
- Perform immunization audits; notify and schedule patients for immunizations.
- Ensure that diagnostic studies are completed as ordered.
- Complete health records per clinic policy.
- Participate in departmental quality assessment and improvement activities.
- Perform other responsibilities as may be assigned.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Current LPN licensure with the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing
- Current CPR certification
