IT Senior Director of Enterprise (IT Enterprise Architecture)

Full Time| 80/20- Onsite/Remote| Weekly Earned Wage Access is an option for this position.
This position is currently only accepting applications from associates currently in the Enterprise Architecture and Infrastructure department.
The Senior Director of Enterprise Architecture’s role is to maintain our integrated services computing server, storage, network, and cyber security functions. You will provide technical leadership and consulting across the organization for technical design, integration, information security, business continuity, and disaster recovery. You will report to the Executive Director of Information Technology.
Tasks:
1. You will create a high-level roadmap to guide the delivery of new IT assets and migration of existing assets towards the enterprise application architecture strategy.
2. Oversee the server, storage, network, and cloud configuration, maintenance, and operational life cycle for the enterprise.
3. Oversee the information security management function and strategy for the enterprise.
4. Coordinate the information technology business continuity/disaster recovery plan and procedures.
5. You will provide Enterprise Architecture consultation to partners and IT teams/leaders on strategic and important application or infrastructure development projects to fit systems or infrastructure to the technical architecture and identify when it is necessary to modify the technical/solution architecture to accommodate project needs.
6. Lead the research and evaluation of emerging technology and market trends (e.g., AI, NLP, machine learning, deep learning, IOT, DaaS, and blockchain) to support project development and operational support activities.
7. Use technology knowledge to anticipate and understand the possible effects of the latest technologies to promote them to appropriate audiences and to integrate these technologies into products and programs.
8. Perform other tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or Information Systems or 4 years related experience.
Experience with virtualization, networking, SAN and server hardware, programming, security, and project management
Experience in enterprise architecture design creation
Knowledge of hardware and software evaluation principles and practice
Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws
Experience with core enterprise applications, including Financial Systems, HR Systems, CRM applications, and Communication/Collaboration tools.
7 years of experience in at least two IT disciplines in a client/server or service-oriented architecture (SOA) environment, including technical architecture, network design, application development, middleware, servers and storage, database management, and operations.
