Inventory Control Analyst – Procurement

Job Description

This position is open to current associates in the CNO Shipping & Receiving Department 
100% Onsite (Durant, OK) | Monday-Friday | 7:00AM-3:30PM

Job Purpose or Objective(s): The Inventory Control Analyst is responsible for the management and oversight of inventory tracking, storage, and distribution to ensure the protection of tribal assets and inventory.

Primary Tasks

  • Maintain inventory cycle count and physical inventory programs.
  • Conduct forecast sales figures and inventory analysis to determine optimal stock levels and place orders.
  • Develop and maintain PAR levels for inventory stocking accuracy.
  • Supervise the receiving, tagging, organizing, and distribution of inventories.
  • Provide required reports to management on cycle count activities, discrepancies and shrinkages.
  • Monitor and evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery methods and procedures; recommend within unit policy, appropriate service and staffing levels.
  • Analyze, identify, and report processes and problem products to assist management in reducing inventory waste.
  • Coordinate activities and proper handling of damaged and defective merchandise.
  • Ensure data integrity for manufacturer names, manufacturer item numbers, supplier item numbers, UOM issues, lead time reviews, and more
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Certified forklift operator
  • Integrity and high work ethic
  • Experience with data modeling, data set analysis, and inventory control standards
  • A thorough understanding of potential fraud and the ability to identify areas of risk.
  • Ability to multitask and work independently with precise detail and follow-up reporting.
  • Two (2) years prior asset management experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
