Inventory Clerk II
Job Description
This position is open to current associates in the CNO Shipping & Receiving Department
100% Onsite (Durant, OK) | Monday-Friday | 7:00AM-3:30PM
Job Purpose or Objective(s): You will manage the delivery of product to all casino outlets and to ensure correct quality product has been received. You will report to the Inventory Control Supervisor.
Primary Tasks
- You will handle problems that are typically of a routine nature but may require interpretation or deviation from standard procedures.
- Organize, clean, label and maintain storage areas to include shelves, floor, walls, coolers, and freezers within the Warehouse.
- Stock received orders to appropriate storage areas to include unpacking, counting, and recording. Stocking may consist of forklift and manual material handling.
- Perform audits on incoming inventory to ensure items on invoice match items delivered.
- You will receive and unload delivery vehicles. Stock product using the First In, First Out (FIFO) model to ensure shorter dated product is used first and product received is dated and labeled according to Choctaw Nation guidelines for safety and food.
- Examine assigned areas to guarantee an organized, clean, and safe environment to maintain compliance requirements for cleanliness, and proper storage of all chemicals and cleaning equipment.
- Inform supervisor of any outdated, damaged, or inferior product received.
- Review orders for completeness and accuracy; receive and document merchandise as it arrives.
- Perform other tasks as may be assigned.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Basic knowledge of the organization products and services
- Basic math and reading skills
- Basic knowledge of food and safety practices
- Physical mobility to load, transport, unload product
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Three (3) years previous inventory, purchasing and/or stocking experience
