Job Purpose or Objective
The System Administrator oversees the administration, maintenance, and optimization of inventory systems, ensuring seamless operation, user training, and adherence to best practices to enhance efficiency and productivity. You will be the Super User for Inventory Systems, driving system excellence and facilitating organizational use. You will report to the F&B Systems Administrator.
Primary Tasks
- You will administer BirchStreet user accounts precisely, including user setup/deactivation, profiles, resetting passwords, and managing permissions.
- Lead regular meetings with BirchStreet users to manage user support tickets, evaluate operations and customize the system, covering a wide array of components such as objects, fields, picklist values, reports, page layouts, order guides, and flows.
- You will conduct comprehensive in-person and online BirchStreet user training sessions, ensuring staff proficiency.
- Develop and uphold comprehensive policy and guidance documentation outlining best practices for system administration and use.
- You will test, link, and implement new BirchStreet system updates and collaborate with POS and operational teams on projects.
- Oversee BirchStreet supplier setup and maintenance processes to ensure seamless integration with inventory systems while maintaining order guides and inventory sheets to facilitate accurate tracking and reporting.
- You will pull or analyze daily usage and weekly sales reports for updates and field requests.
- Review recipes for system use, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational standards.
- You will manage BirchStreet POS interface setup, including linking recipes and troubleshooting errors to minimize disruptions in operations.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience, or 4 years directly related experience in lieu of education.
- Expertise in facility maintenance systems and administrative skills.
- Proficiency in reporting.
- Troubleshoot abilities.
