Drop Count Shift Manager
Job Purpose or Objective(s): The Drop Shift Manager ensures the proper removal of cash from all gaming machines by following the established rules/procedures. The Drop Shift Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing the activities of employees engaged in drop operations. You will report to the Drop Count Manager 2
Exempt Position | Overnight | 1:00 AM – 11:30 AM | Work Sat – Tues / Off Wed – Fri
Primary Tasks:
1. You will directly manage Drop Team Supervisors to include auditing/inspecting work of team members to ensure standards are met, disciplinary actions, performance management by making recommendation for promotions, demotions, termination, scheduling, conducting performance management with staff (Reviews, address sub-standard performance), and training.
2. Assist and maintain payroll, attendance notifications, and timelines.
3. Conduct inspections of all departmental property to ensure upkeep is handled.
4. Read and card meters on gaming machines.
5. You will work with all drop teams to ensure and smooth work processes.
6. Sign, date, and stamp all paperwork.
7. Develop methods, processes, and staffing to forecast/fulfill demand and develop training for new hires and incumbents to perform job tasks.
8. Assists manager with the routing and mapping process to meet the requirements involving the Gaming commission and Surveillance daily and monthly requirements to abide by the drop routines.
9. Advise management on needed actions to assure all team members follow all procedures, while ensuring compliance with Gaming Commission MICS, TICS, and GCR by studying, knowing, and enforcing adherence to requirements and Resolve customer/associate/management concerns.
10. Performs other tasks as may be assigned.
Requirements:
· A High School Diploma or GED
· Attention to accuracy.
· Record data legibly.
· Apply oral or written (legible) communication techniques.
· Be willing/able to perform the job tasks of team members.
· Prior supervisor experience.
