Database Marketing Coordinator – Marketing Analytics

Job Description

Job Purpose or Objective(s): The Database Marketing Coordinator develops SQL code to generate targeted data and lists for Direct Marketing and Promotions. This role manages offers, campaigns, and promotions across multiple guest systems, ensuring accuracy, data integrity, and compliance. The Coordinator also provides technical support for marketing operations, reporting, and analysis. 

Schedule: Thursday-Monday | 1:30pm-10:00pm | Off work on Tuesday & Wednesday 

Primary Tasks

  • Develop and maintain SQL queries to extract, validate, and analyze marketing data, ensuring accuracy and integrity in all outputs.
  • Configure and audit promotions and direct marketing campaigns, performing compliance checks and analyzing participation data for stakeholder reporting.
  • Review and approve marketing materials for accuracy, grammar, and brand consistency prior to release.
  • Provide accurate data lists and campaign targeting support by collaborating with site teams and auditing data through SQL and system checks.
  • Update and maintain player records including tier upgrades, bans, and compliance-related changes to ensure database accuracy.
  • Create and maintain reports and dashboards for campaigns and promotions using advanced Excel functions and Power BI visualizations.
  • Analyze promotional trends and player behavior to deliver monthly performance insights and recommendations to leadership.
  • Test and troubleshoot system upgrades to ensure smooth feature deployment and integration with marketing platforms.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and data governance standards across all marketing data and operational activities.
  • Perform other responsibilities as may be assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field or;
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience in lieu of degree
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, SUMIFS, nested formulas, VLOOKUP/HLOOKUP, Macros, and data visualization
  • Experience with database reporting tools and languages such as Microsoft Access and SQL
  • Working knowledge of marketing and player management systems (e.g. QCI Host, InfoGenesis, Adobe Workfront LMS)
  • Two (2) years of experience in the gaming industry
