Job Description
Job Purpose or Objective(s): The Supervisor provides direct supervision and guidance to the Children & Family Services Social Workers in their daily case management activities and to ensure program compliance.
PG12 | Full Time | Scheduled: Monday through Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm | May be housed in McAlester, Stigler, Poteau or office in Northern Region |

Primary Tasks
- Supervise and mentor a team of 4 FV Program Social Workers, providing guidance and support in their daily work.
- Develop and implement effective strategies and programs to prevent and address family violence within the community.
- Collaborate with community partners, organizations, and stakeholders to enhance the impact of family violence prevention initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and regulations related to family violence prevention and intervention.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to social workers, fostering their professional growth.
- Stay updated on best practices and emerging trends in family violence prevention and incorporate them into program strategies.
- Manage and allocate resources effectively to support the smooth operation of the Family Violence Prevention Program.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records, ensuring data integrity and privacy.
- Represent the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma in external meetings, conferences, and events related to family violence prevention.
- Promote a positive and supportive work environment, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within a social services or non-profit organization, with a focus on family violence prevention.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of professionals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with colleagues, community members, and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of family violence dynamics, risk assessment, and intervention strategies is essential.
- Experience in program development, implementation, and evaluation is preferred.
- Proficiency in using relevant software and technology for record-keeping and data management.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the Northern Choctaw Reservation region.
