Job Description
Job Purpose or Objective(s): To provide a safe and secure environment across all Choctaw Nation properties by overseeing and enforcing security protocols, monitoring daily operations, and responding to incidents or emergencies. You will ensure the protection of people, property, and assets while maintaining compliance with company policies. You will report to the Lieutenant and Sergeant.
Start Rate: $21.23 p/hour | Variable schedule | Must be able to work holidays & weekends
Primary Tasks:
1. Patrol internal and external company properties, including parking lots, garages, and assigned Choctaw Nation locations, ensuring compliance with regulations and protocols.
2. Investigate unusual or suspicious situations, handle threatening or volatile incidents, and assist in emergency situations.
3. Collaborate with casino management, surveillance, and law enforcement on issues such as abandoned, stolen, or damaged vehicles.
4. Ensure all exterior doors are secured, perform building searches as needed, and notify Light Horse Police or property management when necessary.
5. Oversee mobile patrol, pool, and travel plaza officers, maintaining proper protocols, procedures, and vehicle maintenance.
6. Monitor compliance with uniform, firearm, and procedural policies for travel plaza and Patrol Officers, ensuring all required paperwork is accurately completed and submitted.
7. Maintain a detailed logbook of daily activities and submit incident reports on security issues, accidents, theft, or vandalism to the Security Supervisor.
8. Brief officers at the start of each shift, provide updates on new protocols, and address gaps in communication for those unable to attend briefings.
9. Support external events held on Choctaw properties by coordinating security measures and ensuring smooth operations.
10. Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
