Casino (Experienced) Poker Dealer

Start Rate: $6.00/hour + Tips | Part-Time |Multiple schedules available | Must be able to work evenings, weekends, & holidays

Job Purpose or Objective(s): Deals poker, accepts bets, pays winners, and collects from non-winners. Handle player transactions, notifies pit supervisor of any irregularities or disputes that may arise during the game. Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the responsibilities of the job.  The Poker Dealer must be customer-focused and maintain a positive atmosphere; be and informative.  Poker Dealers must learn how to work with different customers. You will report to the TG Floor Supervisor/Shift Manager.

 

Primary Tasks

  • You will deal poker while answering customer or public inquiries regarding general gaming procedures, payouts.
  • Verify identification of customers when needed.
  • Work in assigned areas.
  • Accurate use of computers to enter, access, or retrieve data.
  • You will keep accurate records of monetary exchanges, authorization forms, and transaction reconciliations.
  • Maintain security according to rules.
  • Notify Supervisor immediately and discretely of suspicious activity.
  • All shortages are the responsibility of the Dealer and must be paid back to the Casino.
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Experience handling large volumes of cash
  • Apply basic math (arithmetic, ratios, proportions, or conversions)
  • Prior experience in direct customer contact
