Description
The schedule for this position is Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm. It is a part-time, PRN position.
Job Purpose or Objective(s): Operates ultrasound equipment that collects reflected echoes and Doppler signals from images and spectral tracings of the heart.

This position reports to the Specialty Clinic unit manager
Primary Tasks:
You will perform cardiac sonography imaging, transthoracic 2-D, M-mode, color flow and spectral Doppler, cardiac exercise stress echo and pharmacological stress echo, vascular upper extremity and lower extremity venous duplex, vascular carotid duplex, and non-imaging cardiac Pedoff transducer.
You will assess the cardiac structures and hemodynamics by using two-dimensional images and Doppler tracings.
You will perform vascular imaging to detect and assess the anatomy, physiology and pathology of the veins of the body (at the exclusion of the heart).
You will prepare and present images and offer differential diagnosis to the cardiologist.
You will assist front office personnel in scheduling procedures and procedures requiring special attention.
Required Education, Skills and Experience:
MINIMUM
Associates degree or graduate from accredited program
Registration by ARDMS/CCI or eligible within 1 year
Current BLS certification
Able to perform all Ultrasound task performed in the Specialty clinic
