This position is full-time, Mon-Fri from 8am-4:30pm for 8 weeks (beginning June5) with an hourly pay of $13
Job Purpose: The Biomedical Engineering Intern will be dedicated to learning both the administrative and the medical aspects of biomedical operations.
Primary Tasks:
You will contribute to Choctaw Nation Health Services Authority’s objectives by completing specific work assignments dependent on the intern’s best career and coursework fit and organizational needs.
You will participate in various biomedical or related responsibilities with supervision, which could include administrative tasks, job shadowing, etc.
You will participate in a trained and mentored role to gain hands-on operational knowledge of assigned responsibilities.
Minimum requirements:
Active student with major in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Technical Studies, or related undergrad degree
Choctaw CDIB or Choctaw member status
Must be currently attending an accredited college, university, or postsecondary educational institution.
Cumulative Grade Point Average of 2.5 or higher.
Able to lift 20lbs or more.
