Program Coordinator 1 - Injury Prevention/Child Restraint

Description

Job Purpose or Objective(s): Promote and coordinate services to ensure program initiative and goals are met and participants receive the highest level of benefit.

Primary Tasks:

  1. Serve as the staff liaison between member committees and the organization.

  2. Coordinate daily program activities and ensuring program requirements are being met.

  3. Coordinate administrative functions to ensure smooth and efficient operations of the program.

  4. Develop partnerships to share resources, expertise, and collaborate in planning, implementing, and evaluating projects.

  5. Create awareness of tribal and public services offered to inform members of job opportunities that might be available.

  6. Create and submit required program reports and ensure grant compliance.

  7. Maintain accurate, confidential and up to date records per program requirements.

  8. Monitor program activities to ensure adherence to tribal, federal and program policies, regulations, and goals.

  9. Perform other duties as may be assigned.

Required Education, Skills and Experience:

MINIMUM

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Strong problem solving skills

  • General computer skills

  • Experience with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Two (2) years of experience program services or related
