Full Time // Hugo, OK // Day/On Call Shift

Job Purpose or Objective

​Serves as the liaison for all utility coordination including acquisitions, new construction, and existing facilities for the CNO

Primary Tasks

  1. Assist in the service coordination of utilities for each facility, new or existing to include, attending on site meetings, scheduling of services, negotiating with utility companies, completing utility easements, negotiating utility contracts, preparing utility site evaluations and any other utility service requested.

  2. Communicate with project owners, architects, engineers and utility company personnel to understand the scopes of projects and assists in making appropriate recommendations as needed to identify and implement the least cost and most appropriate installation of utility facilities.

  3. Perform utility site evaluations for all CNO properties as well as construction projects and generate reports summarizing all field utility data.

  4. Review and understand Utility Company Plans for installation of facilities and negotiate alternatives if more beneficial to the CNO.

  5. Review and understand utility company's standard practices, rates and tariffs.

  6. Identify, investigate and assist in resolving any abnormal variance in energy usage.

  7. Perform utility locates in the absence of the Utility Technician.

  8. Conduct business with the highest level of ethics, compliance and transparency while adhering to applicable policies and audit requirements.

  9. Other duties as may be assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering or related field is preferred

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required

  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Power Point

  • 3-5 years Utility Industry experience is required

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required

  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Power Point

  • 5 years Utility Industry experience is preferred
