Day Job // Full Time // Hugo, OK

Job Purpose or Objective(s): Perform preventative maintenance, service assignments and repairs on a variety of laundry and environmental equipment to assure safe, continuous operation of equipment. #LI-HG1

Primary Tasks:

  1. Perform troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance on commercial laundry equipment.

  2. Manage, direct and oversee performance of all Laundry Technicians. Enforce all work rules, SOP's and guidelines as required.

  3. Assist Director of Laundry Operations in creation of budget.

  4. Update all SOP's, Training programs and job descriptions as necessary.

  5. Demonstrate effective troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  6. Effectively manage time and resources, to control costs, enhance efficiencies, and meet time-to-repair commitments.

  7. Determine material, parts, and equipment to be used for repair, installation and stock.

  8. Utilize knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment to perform repairs ranging from routine to more complex to support industrial sized Laundry.

  9. Communicate effectively with internal customers on repair status.

  10. Perform other duties as may be assigned.

Required Education, Skills and Experience:

MINIMUM

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Willingness/ability to be involved with the emergency on-call rotation that includes nights and weekends.

  • Must be responsible, operate under minimal supervision, demonstrate initiate and display a strong sense of responsibility

  • Five (5) years’ service industry experience with large commercial laundry equipment or related machinery

  • Relevant technician training, license, and/or certifications and commercial laundry equipment repair experience
