Day Job // Full Time // $23.00 hourly // Hugo, OK
Job Purpose or Objective(s): The Hotel Laundry Manager is responsible for planning, assigning, and supervising the work of the laundry staff to assure proper staffing, sanitary conditions, safe use, and maintenance of commercial equipment. #LI-HG1
Primary Tasks:
Management of laundry staff which includes: coaching, evaluating, directing, approving and/or disapproving employee leave requests, scheduling, and performance management to include; discipline, hiring, firing, and payroll.
Train Laundry Staff in all areas of linen care and safe operation of commercial laundry machinery assuring that laundry tasks are completed in accordance with procedures, standards, and policies.
Ensure compliance with cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety, and complete and on-time delivery at the lowest possible cost.
Monitor and control all expenses including maintenance costs to assure that financial goals are being met.
Oversee the maintenance of all commercial laundry equipment.
Review and approve or reject invoices to ensure accurate pricing and items received.
Order and manage necessary supplies ensuring workers have the equipment and tools necessary to do their jobs.
Retain proper controls on inventory of linen and detergent supplies.
Follow established procedures and policies of the Choctaw Nation, Choctaw Casinos, and local management.
Perform other duties as may be assigned.
Required Education, Skills and Experience:
MINIMUM
Associate’s Degree in hospitality or related field
Ability to obtain CLLM Certification
Ability to work with various cleaning agents, tools and equipment and be trained in blood borne pathogens and perform required blood borne pathogens procedures
Understand the processes of the laundry operation
Be willing/able to perform job tasks of subordinates (except technical positions)
Three (3) years hotel/laundry management experience in hotel industry
TARGET
Bachelor’s Degree in hospitality or related field
CLLM Certification
Ability to work with various cleaning agents, tools and equipment and be trained in blood borne pathogens and perform required blood borne pathogens procedures

Be willing/able to perform job tasks of subordinates (except technical positions)
Three (3) years hotel/laundry management experience in hotel industry
