This positions is a Temporary Part-Time On-Call positions and is based on business needs | Shift, Hours, and Days will vary
Job Purpose or Objective(s): The Slot Attendant should have a general knowledge of gaming machines to be able to instruct customers on their use and features. The Slot Attendant issues jackpot payouts to customers up to the established amount after all appropriate approvals have been obtained, resets jackpots, resets machines, and performs general maintenance on machines as necessary.
Primary Tasks:
Provides customer service and support by maintaining high visibility on the floor, proactively initiating and building rapport with slot customers, explaining the various slot games, game rules, and payout schedules to our guests.
Replenishes thermal paper, fixing printer jams, and bill acceptor malfunctions.
Identifies and corrects machine malfunctions; contacts the appropriate personnel to repair machine or program functionality.
Pays winners by promptly responding to winning customers, obtain proper identification, verify hand pays, assisting the Supervisor in processing jackpot/paperwork, paying the customer, and assisting with Title 31 transaction requirements following established procedures.
Protects casino assets by observing floor activity and reporting suspicious activity or procedural irregularities to the Casino/Slot Supervisor or Slot Shift Manager.
Know Choctaw Casino Slot Policy & Procedures and other related SOP’s.
Accurately use computers to enter access or retrieve data.
Keep accurate records of monetary exchanges, authorization forms, and transaction reconciliations.
Other duties as may be assigned.
Required Education, Skills and Experience:
MINIMUM
Experience in handling large volumes of cash preferred
Apply basic math (arithmetic, ratios, proportions, or conversions)
Apply oral or written communication techniques
Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time
Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke
TARGET
High School Diploma or GED
