Traffic Manager

Description

Job Purpose or Objective(s): The Traffic Manager will facilitate the workflow of marketing projects, managing the production process from concept through completion ensuring on-time delivery and flawless execution.

Primary Tasks:

  1. Responsible for the daily management of job input, assigning work and providing project details and expectations to staff members.

  2. Communicate with clients regarding deadlines and priority level, ensuring all necessary information is obtained for project completion.

  3. Anticipate or recognize potential problems affecting project deadlines and take necessary corrective action.

  4. Manage daily workloads and assignments to ensure that the appropriate talent is assigned to projects and workloads are evenly maintained.

  5. Oversee the project workflow to ensure materials are produced with accuracy and on time by tracking project progress, routing work for review and approval, and opening and closing projects.

  6. Acts as a departmental liaison within the communications teams.

  7. Self-manage projects and timelines, proactively seeking input from stakeholders to ensure accuracy of deliverables or to additional bandwidth.

  8. Works closely with the designers and Account Director to set project milestones, create project timelines and track schedules to ensure all deliverable deadlines are met on time and on brand.

  9. Other work duties as assigned.

Required Education, Skills and Experience:

MINIMUM

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Project Management or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Detail oriented and able to work on tight timelines

  • Must be a self-starter and able to work autonomously

  • Ability to communicate effectively and courteously with co-workers and internal clients.

  • Knowledge of Workfront Software

  • Three (3) years project management experience

TARGET

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Detail oriented and able to work on tight timelines

  • Must be a self-starter and able to work autonomously

  • Ability to communicate effectively and courteously with co-workers and internal clients.

  • Experience with project management in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines

  • Admin experience in Workfront Software

  • Five (5) years project management experience
