Description

Job Purpose or Objective(s): Oversee operations at a site with 1000 or greater EGM units and a minimum of 10 table games and 4 card games. Ensures protection of casino assets, and provides leadership and supervision of Surveillance Associates.

Primary Tasks:

  1. Oversee the operations of surveillance room activities and assist the Surveillance Manager with equipment issues when required.

  2. Monitor surveillance activities to ensure applicable governing standards and organization/departmental procedures are followed.

  3. Provide information to assist various internal departments, local, state, and federal authorities in various activities and investigations.

  4. Maintain strict confidentiality of all surveillance related activity and consistently demonstrate a positive demeanor and support of leadership directives.

  5. Ensure clear, thorough, and concise communication between all three shifts and the Surveillance Manager.

  6. Maintain and review daily logs and reports to ensure that information on surveillance activities are kept for future access. Review and prepare reports on suspicious activity observed on site.

  7. Review and approve all reports prepared by the operators to ensure accuracy.

  8. Promote teamwork with peers and among staff to help ensure the department operates as a team.

  9. Address and resolve guest concerns or inquiries.

  10. Perform other duties as may be assigned.

Required Education, Skills and Experience:

MINIMUM

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Knowledge of surveillance and casino department MICS, TICS, SICS and department Policies and Procedures

  • Ability to work with minimum direction and communicate quickly and effectively both orally and in writing

  • Exhibits strong interpersonal skills, and organizational skills

  • Computer literate to include use of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, use of e-mail and Internet

  • Three ye a rs of surveillance experience, or a Casino Associate with one or more years of experience in a leadership or management role
