Strategic Delivery Senior Manager

Description

Job Purpose or Objective(s): Responsible for delivering strategic initiatives with the administration and execution of strategic plans to support the business in achieving organizational goals. This position ensures successful facilitation and completion of a range of projects and strategic implementation support. This position includes daily travel within the boundaries of the Choctaw Nation Reservation.

Primary Tasks:

  1. Oversee the planning, management, execution and tracking of all division-level strategic initiatives.

  2. Develop reporting systems to provide leadership visibility of key change and performance initiatives.

  3. Ensure project quality, assist in developing recommendations, review deliverables, and ensure successful implementation.

  4. Participate in evaluation of organizational priorities; gain understanding of the organization’s strategic goals to support project selection.

  5. Provide support in planning and execution of the organization’s growth initiatives.

  6. Create and execute strategic initiatives and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.

  7. Review, and monitor projects and strategies to ensure that progress is within expected guidelines and is completed on time and within scope.

  8. Maintain close relationships with management teams to drive support, buy-in, and promote transparency as to operational needs.

  9. Work cross-functionally with business leaders and process owners to deliver strategic initiatives.

  10. Perform other duties as may be assigned.

Required Education, Skills and Experience:

MINIMUM

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Organizational Management or related field or relevant experience

  • Advanced skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and Windows

  • Extensive knowledge of the principles and practices of organizational development/effectiveness with the ability to positively impact the structure, culture, and effectiveness of the organization

  • Goal-oriented and action focused, pragmatic and self-disciplined, good at project planning, organizing, communication, team motivation, and delegation

  • Understand P&L statement and how his/her actions impact, improve

  • Apply oral or written (legible) communication techniques

  • Strong analytic skills. Quickly understands business issues and challenges facing the company

  • Five (5) years of experience in a business environment solving complex operational problems

TARGET

  • Master’s Degree in Business Organizational Management or related field or relevant experience

  • Advanced skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and Windows

  • Determine strategies to move the organization forward, set goals, create and implement action plans, and evaluate the process and results

  • Ability to apply technical, business, and PM skills to manage complex, strategic projects

  • Assess situations to determine the importance, urgency and risks, and make clear decisions which are timely and in the best interest of the organization

  • Outstanding organization, communication, writing, and presentation skills

  • Proven track record of the successful management of complex multifunctional projects/programs

  • Eight (8) years of experience in a business environment solving complex operational problems
