Product Manager (F&B)

Description

Job Purpose or Objective(s): The Product Manager is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle, including gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with different business units and management and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Manager also ensures that the product supports the company’s overall strategy and goals. Also works to grow the client relationship by identifying new business opportunities.

Primary Tasks:

  1. Designs, develops and manages activities for a specific product or group of products from product definition and planning through production, release, and end of life.

  2. Creates and maintains product roadmap by gathering and prioritizing product and stakeholder requirements.

  3. Works closely with vendors, business stakeholders and applications support teams to ensure product support documentation is created and maintained.

  4. Serves as the central resource for product functionality, processes, testing, training and quality assurance.

  5. Maintains operational knowledge throughout all stages of a product’s lifecycle including modifications, upgrades and maintenance of the product(s).

  6. Reviews product release notes prior to upgrade(s) and prepares upgrade summaries for review with business stakeholders.

  7. Facilitate the creation and maintenance of product documentation.

  8. Ensures that the product(s) supports the Choctaw Nation’s overall strategy and goals and initiate end of life discussions when product(s) are no longer being utilized to preform essential business functions.

  9. Performs other duties as may be assigned

Required Education, Skills and Experience:

MINIMUM

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a Computer Technology field or equivalent work experience.

  • Ability to collaborate IT solutions or business development

  • Familiar with Project Management and implementation processes

  • Analytical skills and customer service abilities

  • Great communication and presentation skills

  • Seven years of related business experience and superior interpersonal skills

TARGET

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a Computer Technology field

  • Ability to collaborate IT solutions or business development with increasing responsibility

  • Expertise in the product or market including specific technical or industry knowledge.

  • Superior project management and interpersonal skills

  • Ten years of related business experience and superior interpersonal skills
