Network Collaboration Engineer III
Job Purpose or Objective(s): Supports all Network VoIP/ Cisco Unified Communications Manager/ Cisco Unity Connection/ Cisco Unified Contact Center/ WebEx by designing, implementing, and troubleshooting needed data connectivity. The Network Voice Collaboration Engineering III will work with other Network Engineers, Network System Administrators, and 3rd party vendors; stay up to date on new solutions and recommend ways that can better support CNO.
A seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of area of specialization; resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways. This job is the fully qualified, career-oriented, journey-level position.
Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise.
Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments.
Communicates effectively inside the department (IT). Aligns basic projects and work to achieve departmental goals. Can articulate standard operational challenges in an understandable way to an audience unfamiliar with departmental concepts.
Significant ability to influence department on a wide range of issues pertaining to specialty. Contributes to overall impact toward departmental goals.
Seasoned professional understanding of Cisco Voice, routers and switches. Able to configure and troubleshoot Voice, Layer3 solutions.
In addition, Able to plain and design IP Schema for small to medium locations.

Basic to Moderate ability to support and troubleshoot or implementation WiFi / WLAN solutions.
Performs other duties as may be assigned.
No College degree
No technical Certifications needed with 5 years’ experience
3 years Professional Experience of Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Cisco Unity Connection, & Cisco Unified Contact Center.
Two years of Cisco Voice design solutioning for Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Cisco Unity Connection, & Cisco Unified Contact Center
Two years of Network Design and Implementation Solutions using Cisco Hardware. (WAN, LAN, WiFi, VoIP)
Bachelor’s or higher in Computer Science or related field preferred
Preferred Cisco CCNA or CCNP Certificate
5 years of designing and implementing Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Cisco Unity Connection, & Cisco Unified Contact Center solutions from concept to installation
5 years Cisco hardware experience
5 years of Network Engineering for WAN, LAN, WiFi, VoIP.
Multiple years’ experience working with Cisco and VAR’s in designing and installing network solutions (WAN, LAN, WiFi, Firewalls, IPS, IDS, Load Balancers, Cisco ISE, other)
