ITIL Service Analyst II
Description
Job Purpose or Objective(s): The incumbent works directly with the business and IT teams in support of processes, initiatives, and projects. The role engages with business and IT groups at all levels to provide support to improve services, processes, and customer satisfaction.
Primary Tasks:
Create process documentation, process workflows, and ITIL Practices
Collect and document business requirements for initiatives and process improvement/automation efforts
Facilitate process workflow modeling in order to collaborate on process improvements, automation capabilities and clearly defined end-to-end use cases
Review information and trends to ensure that the output of processes are achieving the desired results and that services are meeting agreed upon service levels
Identify issues, risks, and bring inconsistencies and problems to the attention of management
Participate in the problem resolution
Maintain a complete understanding of and adheres to all IT policies and processes
Performs other duties as may be assigned.
MINIMUM
4 years of relevant professional experience.
Bachelor's degree in information systems, software engineering, or related field preferred.
Good Knowledge of the following methodologies: ITIL, Six Sigma, Agile
Good understanding Service Desk, IT Service Management, and general IT Processes.
Good Knowledge of process development, process mapping, concepts, and techniques.
Strong Knowledge of the following tools: Microsoft Office Products, IT Service Management tool, IT Asset Management tool.
Basic understanding of Agile and Scrum development methodology a plus.
Related IT Certifications strongly preferred
TARGET
2 years of Business Analyst experience
Bachelor's degree in information systems, software engineering, or related field
