Electrician Durant Resort Maintenance
Description
Job Purpose or Objective(s): The Electrician is responsible for maintaining the facilities with regard to efficient operation and routine maintenance of electrical equipment and electrical components of the facilities.
Start Rate: $28.20
Primary Tasks:
Assist with property remodeling, upkeep, maintenance and upgrades.
Perform all preventative maintenance on systems and maintain logbooks.
Conduct walk-through inspections of entire property.
Repair electrical systems throughout the property.
Replace light bulbs, ballasts, sockets, switches, GFI receptacles, and dimmers.
Record gauge/meter readings, repairs completed, and time lost due to inoperative equipment.
Maintain tools, equipment, and supplies in good, clean, operating order. Monitor supplies.
Interface and coordinate with internal departments to schedule installations and repairs so as to cause minimal business interruption.
Maintain a clean, safe, work environment within area of responsibility.
Understand and follow safety standards related to performance of the job and government/public health regulations.

Required Education, Skills and Experience:
MINIMUM
A High School Diploma or GED
Oklahoma Electrical Journeyman or Contractor License
Regular travel is required as well as occasional overnight stays.
Must be available on short notice to respond to electrical problems which hinder operation of facilities or pose a safety risk.
Knowledge of the electrical industry including current safety practices and procedures as well as current updates on the National Electrical Code.
Knowledge of the use of hand and power tools and basic carpentry skills for the performance of the job.
Understand and use basic electrical code as it applies to commercial facilities.
Prior electrician experience required.
TARGET
