Full-Time, Regular position with the EPIC Cogito Team in Talihina | Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm; Option for 60/40 remote work | Pay: Salaried, PG18

Job Summary: The EHR Cogito Project Manager is responsible for the success of internal analytics for the Health division, and for coordinating healthcare-centric analytics tasks across all in-scope healthcare applications, overseeing and coordinating the triage of healthcare analytics needs and the corresponding builds. The Cogito Project Manager ensures the build, security, and data segregation strategies implemented within the Health division meet and comply with internal as well as, overall organizational requirements and expectations. You will report to the Epic Project Director.
Primary Tasks
- You will coordinate with appropriate Shared Service groups and Data Privacy Officer to oversee the implementation and maintenance of security measures for the Epic Cogito platform.
- Work with analyst sponsors, data owners, trustees, and stewards to facilitate a Health division data governance committee and participate in enterprise-level governance decisions.
- Establishing and enforcing processes including request, triage, prioritization, testing, publishing, and validating data requests.
- Facilitating application, Cogito, and vested parties' communication to close gaps.
- You will coordinate with the training team to ensure end-user comfort and happiness with data and tools. Establishing a process for use of the analytics catalog and request tracker.
- Driving the Health division analytics implementation to meet organizational goals and programs and timelines.
- Monitoring Cogito team productivity and performance. Measuring ongoing success of analytics after go-live and making necessary adjustments.
- Reviewing upgrade documentation related to analytics tools and content and coordinating with appropriate teams to plan, coordinate, implement, share, and train the changes.
- You will work with the Business Intelligence Developers and Shared Service technical SMEs, to identify the right solution for each request.
- Other tasks as assigned by management.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or healthcare field or 6 (+) years professional experience in information systems and analytics.
- 5 years of leadership experience in diverse healthcare or IT team.
- Strong verbal and written correspondence skills
- Strong coordination, facilitation, consultation, and conflict resolution skills
- Fundamental experience troubleshooting technical issues.
- Operate and communicate while under pressure.
- Strong critical thinking skills: The willingness to see things in an open-minded way.
- Existing knowledge of healthcare culture, personnel, processes, and workflows.
