Summer Leadership Intern CHPP I Lead Battiest
Description
Chahta Himmak Pila Pehlichi - Striving to improve outcomes for Native American youth (aged 14 - 24 years) in Antlers, Battiest, and Wright City public schools.
$8.00 Hourly, 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday
Eligibility Requirements for CHPP.
Must be 14 years - 24 years of age (by May 31.)
Must reside within the Choctaw Nation service area.
Job Purpose or Objective(s): As the Summer Leadership Intern, you will Attend and participate in the Chahta Himmak Pila Pehlichi six-week summer leadership camp program serving the Native American youth between the ages of 14-24.
Primary Tasks:
You will attend all scheduled sessions unless absence is excused following CNO policies.
You will need to arrive on time and leave on time.
Behave following a professional work environment.
Contribute in all program activities.
Complete a minimum of 6 hours of program directed community service.
Participate in the development of community-focused project.
Other tasks as assigned.
Required Education, Skills, and Experience:
Enrolled in Federally Recognized Tribe.
Eager to learn, highly motivated, hardworking and willing to work as a team.
